Need a speaker your team won’t forget?

Last week, I drove to Indianapolis for a conference…one I wasn’t attending—I was speaking at it.

Originally, I was scheduled for two afternoon workshops. Then a call came in the week prior:

Their plenary speaker had an emergency.

Could I step in?

I paused for less than half a second.

“Absolutely, yes.”

Three sessions. One day. 4.5 hours of speaking. My kind of day.

The afternoon workshops focused on:

  • Strengthening Communication Skills

  • Reframing Your Thoughts to Unlock Possibility

But the plenary session kicked off the day. How would I make it memorable and engaging?

That’s easy, I walked on stage wearing…a cardboard U-Haul box. (No sponsorship deal, unfortunately. And also, I totally forgot to ask someone to send me a picture. Thankfully, I had one in the archives!)

You can imagine the looks. Curiosity. Confusion. Awaiting an answer.

The topic: The Secret to a Lighter, More Joyful Life: Rediscovering the Moments You’ve Stopped Noticing.

Because somewhere along the hustle of work and life, we stop noticing moments that foster appreciation, gratitude, and our spark. It’s in remembering both the details and the adventures that we train our brains to look for moments that change everything.

That awareness? It’s what re-engages teams, sparks fresh thinking, and brings energy back into the room.

If you’re planning a conference, workshop, or team development experience and want something that actually sticks—let’s talk.

I'd love to create something meaningful for your group.

Halle
