3 mistakes that limit coaching results

I finally did something I’ve wanted to do for a long time!
After 9 years working as a coach, I’ve noticed a few common obstacles that keep people from getting the most out of a coaching session:
Unfamiliarity with the structure of a coaching session. It’s often assumed that coaching is similar to therapy. Though coaching can be therapeutic, it’s not a place to just vent. Coaching is a conversation with a purpose, guided by a framework to help you move forward.
People aren’t as “open” as they think they are. There are phrases I hear repeatedly that unintentionally block clients from accessing parts of their brains necessary for insight and growth.
Lack of preparation. Preparation doesn’t have to take long. Even three minutes can help you clarify your intention and get far more value out of the conversation.
What did I do?
I finally made a video!!!
In under five minutes, it helps new clients (and those considering coaching) understand how to get the most out of their sessions.
I took the “done is better than perfect” approach, and I’d love your feedback!
The video is quick, practical, and covers the three points above and more.
And if you’re feeling led to book an introductory call and explore coaching for yourself, you can do that here:
Oh, and say it with me, "Come on Spring!"
